ST. LOUIS, MO -- The following area resident was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2009 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.

Kristen Marie Valaika of Harleysville was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2009 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Valaika is a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy in Lower Gwynedd, and is enrolled in the university's Olin Business School.

To make the Dean's List in the Olin Business School, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 hours of graded course work.
