Area students earn degrees at Fairfield University
Fairfield University, a Jesuit institution of higher learning founded in 1942 in Fairfield, Conn. presented 1,247 diplomas at its Sixtieth Commencement on Sunday, May 23, 2010.

Laura M. Fesnak, a resident of Landsdale, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Megan K. Smith, a resident of Lower Gwynedd, received a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism.
