Souderton local earns scholarship
Brandon K. Kiser of Souderton was awarded an annual scholarship by Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Kiser is a student at Messiah College.
Kiser is a member of Messiah's honors program and the Dean's List. He is an officer of the Investment Club and is a resident assistant. Kiser participates in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Scholarship recipients are accounting majors who have completed a minimum of 36 credit hours in general study. They are selected on the basis of intellectual capacity, leadership potential, financial need, and intent to pursue a career in accounting. This scholarship renews each year until graduation, as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA and remains an accounting major.
