Students attend Summer Institute at UA
The following local residents were among the high school students attend this year's Pre-College Summer Institute at the University of the Arts.
Adam Speelhoffer, a resident of Schwenksville, Pa., participated in the Acting program.
Allison Shaftel, a resident of Maple Glen, participated in the Art + Media program.
Molly Smith, a resident of Doylestown, participated in the Dance program.
Frederick Gerngross, a resident of Lower Gwynedd, participated in the Music Studies program.
Timothy Leslie, a resident of Lansdale, participated in the Music Studies program.
Scott Olsen, a resident of North Wales, participated in the Music Studies program.
Daniel Beaver, a resident of Perkasie, participated in the Music Studies program.
David Jia, a resident of Ambler, participated in the Music Studies program.
Maria Borlando, a resident of Lansdale, participated in the Musical Theater program.

Pre-College Summer Institute is an intensive program on the campus of the University of the Arts for rising juniors and seniors in the following subject areas: Acting, Art + Media Exploration, Dance, Jazz and Musical Theater. Programs are either two or four weeks in July.
