Lansdale resident gives student address at Peirce College Commencement
Shandai Moore-Jenkins of Lansdale gave the student address at Philadelphia-based Peirce College’s 146th Commencement on June 13. She was among the graduates who received their diplomas at the event, held at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia.
Moore-Jenkins was also chosen as the Peirce College featured learner for pursuing her degree to better serve the poor. She recently received the honor of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Moore-Jenkins was also inducted in the Chi Alphi Epsilon National Honor Society as well as the Delta Mu Delta International Society in Business and is graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Moore-Jenkins he is a working adult, balancing life, family, business, as well as studies. While enrolled in Peirce as a full-time online student, she remained committed to the success of being a wife, mother, and community leader. Moore-Jenkins is the founder of Chosen 300 Ministries, Inc., providing humanitarian relief programs to the poor and less fortunate here in the United States and several countries around the world, which includes Guyana, Jamaica, Nigeria, South Africa, Liberia, and providing food and shelter for 290 homeless children in Pradesh, India.
She celebrated her graduation with her husband, twin sons, parents, godparents, siblings, and friends.
