Area students graduate from Fairfield University
Area residents among 1,285 graduates at Fairfield University's 61st commencement
FAIRFIELD, CONN. -- Fairfield University, a Jesuit university founded in 1942 in Fairfield, Conn., awarded 1,285 diplomas at its 61st Commencement on Sunday, May 22, 2011, on Bellarmine Hall Lawn during two ceremonies, one in the morning for undergraduates and one in the afternoon for those receiving graduate degrees.
The following area residents received degrees at Fairfield's Commencement:
Charles J. Kulesza, a resident of Sellersville, who studied in Fairfield's College of Arts and Sciences, received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics.
Mark D. Eastburn, a resident of Doylestown, who studied in Fairfield's College of Arts and Sciences, received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Marissa A. Spedale, a resident of Doylestown, who studied in Fairfield's College of Arts and Sciences, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Eric A. Clayton, a resident of North Wales, who studied in Fairfield's College of Arts and Sciences, received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
