Gwynedd-Mercy College students inducted into criminal justice honor society
In an induction ceremony held in Assumption Hall at Gwynedd-Mercy College, ten criminal justice students became formally affiliated with the Kappa Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
The students are as follows: Gregory Borgmann, Michaela Brass, Kathleen Coughlin, Kevin Fesick, Anthony Fleming, Leigh Manduke, Ashley McCleaster, Kevin Miller, Christopher Santos, and Regina Sellman.
Honorable Carolyn Tornetta Carluzzio, of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas was on hand to inspire students to pursue their dreams in the face of adversity. Making the most of opportunities and taking initiative were a few of the themes she stressed.
Professor Walt Zdunowski, director of the Criminal Justice Program spoke highly of his students—who are required to maintain a 3.0 grade point average and rank in the top 35 percent of their class.
