Local residents on dean's list at The Johns Hopkins University
Two local residents were named to the Dean’s list for academic excellence for the Fall 2009 semester at The Johns Hopkins University.
Aaron Schecter of Lansdale, a son of David and Kelly Schecter and who attended North Penn High School is majoring in applied mathematics and statistics, will graduate in May 2012.
Leah Harrell of Harleysville, a daughter of Meacham and Catherine Harrell and who attended Souderton Area High School is majoring in an arts and sciences pre-major, will graduate in May 2013.
To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in a program of at least 14 credits with at least 12 graded credits.
