Business students attain honors
Students from Montgomery County Community College’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda student business organization recently attended the PBL State Leadership Conference Harrisburg.
The conference provided students with the opportunity to hone their leadership and business skills and to compete for honors.
The following honors were earned by MCCC students:
First Place, Database Design and Applications: Vanessa Arbelo (Lansdale)
Second Place, Business Decision Making: Jeannette Forget (Hatboro), Elysee Haas (Lansdale) and Samantha Kehoe (North Wales)
Second Place, Digital Video Production: Dan Vargas (Souderton)
Third Place, Information Management: Samantha Kehoe (North Wales)
Third Place, Sales Presentation: Dan Vargas (Souderton)
The students competed against students from two- and four-year colleges and universities throughout the state. The winning students will compete at the PBL National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn. in July.
