Saint Joseph's University recently announced that Sarah Quain of Lansdale has been chosen to participate in the University's Summer Scholars Program (SSP), which started May 17, and will last for 10 weeks throughout the summer. Through this program, Quain will work with Laura Pattillo, Ph.D. of the English department, on a scholarly project, Cultural Context of Adaptations of the "Little Red Riding Hood" Tale.
This year, 90 SJU undergraduates, (as well as students enrolled in five-year B.S./M.S. programs) will engage in hands-on research or other creative projects that foster close professional interaction between students and faculty mentors.
