Two earn academic honors at Johns Hopkins University
Two local residents were named to the Dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2010 semester at The Johns Hopkins University.
Leah Harrell of Harleysville, Pa. is the daughter of Meacham and Catherine Harrell and attended Souderton Area High School in Souderton, Pa. Leah Harrell, who is majoring in an arts and sciences pre-major.
Aaron Schecter of Lansdale, is the son of David and Kelly Schecter and attended North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pa. Aaron Schecter, who is majoring in applied mathematics and statistics.
To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in a program of at least 14 credits with at least 12 graded credits.
