DEAN ALAN HAGIN

Dean Alan Hagin, son of Julian S. Hagin Sr. and the late Louise C. Hagin of Harleysville and stepson to Dorothy L. Hagin,  recently received a  PhD from University of Washington's College of Education in Seattle.  Hagin is a Souderton Area High School graduate and attended Montgomery County Community College. He earned a BA in English from Aurora University and a MA in English from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is director of the Learning Center at Whatcom County Community College in Bellingham, WA where he lives with his wife, Wendy, and two sons, Michael and David.
He is also the grandson of the late W.A. and Emmaline Hagin of Waycross, GA and the late Harry B. and Bertha M. Clemens of Harlesyville.
