Harleysville native Hannah Canaviri is participating in the Goshen College Study-Service Term (SST) in Egypt during this fall semester, along with 18 other students. They are the first group to go to Egypt and this is the first time that Arabic is the language studied by students on SST.
She is the daughter of Ponciana and Gina Canaviri of Harleysville and is majoring in history. She is a 2008 graduate of Santa Cruz (Bolivia) Christian Learning Center. She left for Egypt on Sept. 2 and will return to the United States on Dec. 1. Director of International Education Tom Meyers is leading the unit.
