Area woman named to honor society at University of Massachusetts
The University of Massachusetts, Boston recently named Shea Miller of Chalfont, to the Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honor Society for Freshmen. Shea, an Anthropology major, was one of 106 students at UMass Boston to be named to the honor society.
To be eligible for the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average or better during the first term or year of attendance at UMass Boston. This year's class of honorees at UMass Boston included students from across the United States and from 15 countries.
