Area student serves in Peru
A Perkasie native is participating in the Goshen (Ind.) College Study-Service Term (SST) in Peru during this fall semester, along with 10 other students. Goshen established an SST unit there in 2005.
Nathaniel Day, son of Jeffrey Day and Eunice Rush-Day of Perkasie, is majoring in English.
He is a 2008 graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. He left for Peru on Sept. 2 and will return to the United States on Dec. 1. Kevin and Heather Gary, along with their children, Evie, Lucas and Gabriel, are leading the unit. Kevin is associate professor of education at Goshen College.
