NPHS students receive high honors at Montgomery County Science Research competition
Nearly 50 public, private and parochial schools entered this competition with approximately 500 students from sixth through twelfth grade participating.
NPHS senior Jason Mineweaser placed first in senior engineering for his presentation of Implementing Ag+ Into Polyvinyl Nanofibers for Antibacterial Purposes and NPHS Sophomore Ishaan Nerurkar placed first in sophomore mathematics for Proof of Infinite Solutions for Pell’s Equation.
Both students will participate in the tri-state Delaware Valley Science Fair from April 6-8, 2010. Medal winners from this competition will then compete at the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair in May.
